contentBliss was sitting on the toilet in a hotel bathroom when a woman in the next stall accidentally let her handgun slip out of her waist holster. The weapon discharged when it hit the ground.
Police said the gun belonged to a 56-year-old woman who has a concealed weapons permit.

Wow, this is pretty crazy. You go into the bathroom to do your business and get shot. Really sucks.

The one thing keeping me somewhat sane today is that The Biggest Loser is on TV tonight. Well that and the fact that things will be better in a few days. :)
I'm actually surprised that I'm so calm for the most part right now. Yes, I'm a bit annoyed about some things that are now going on, but I'm trying to tell myself that it's not worth getting worked up about. Honestly, it's not. Sorry if I sound cryptic, I'll post more on this next week.
shockedNEW YORK – A worker was killed in the crush Friday after a throng of shoppers eager for post-Thanksgiving bargains burst through the doors at a suburban Wal-Mart, authorities said.
At least four other people were injured, and the store in Valley Stream on Long Island was closed.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Bentonville, Ark., called the incident a "tragic situation" and said the employee came from a temporary agency and was doing maintenance work at the store.
"He was bum-rushed by 200 people," co-worker Jimmy Overby, 43, told the Daily News. "They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me. They took me down too. ... I literally had to fight people off my back."
Nassau County police said the 34-year-old worker was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at about 6 a.m. The man's name was not released and the cause of death was not immediately known.
A police statement said shortly after the store's 5 a.m. opening time, shoppers "physically broke down the doors, knocking (the worker) to the ground."
A metal portion of the door was crumpled like an accordion.
Shoppers around the country lined up early outside stores in the annual bargain hunting ritual known as Black Friday. Many stores open early and stay open late, and some of the most dramatic bargains are available in limited quantities.
Among the bargains offered by Wal-Mart for Friday were Samsung 50-inch high definition Plasma TVs for less than $800.
Witnesses told the Daily News that before the store was closed, eager shoppers streamed past emergency crews as they worked furiously to save the worker's life.
"They were working on him, but you could see he was dead," said Halcyon Alexander, 29. "People were still coming through."
A 28-year-old pregnant woman was taken to a hospital for observation, and she and the unborn baby were both reported to be OK, said Sgt. Anthony Repalone, a Nassau County police spokesman. Four or five other people suffered minor injuries, he said.
Ellen Davis, a spokeswoman at National Retail Federation, said the group knew of no other incident where a retail employee has died working on the day after Thanksgiving.
Wal-Mart is working closely with police, company spokesman Dan Fogleman said.
"The safety and security of our customers and associates is our top priority," Fogleman said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families at this difficult time."
sickClooney's 'jealous' call to Hugh Jackman
1:17PM Wednesday Nov 26, 2008
Jackman is not sure if Clooney was up to his usual prankster ways or is jealous.
Clooney is a two-time Sexiest Man Alive winner and has successfully campaigned for Ocean's Eleven mates Brad Pitt and Matt Damon in the past.
Jackman said he was asleep a couple of nights back when his phone rang at 2am and Clooney was on the line.
"I was half asleep and I said to him, 'Ah, George sweetie, good to hear from you'," Jackman, with a hint of a smile, told People magazine at Monday's US premiere for Australia in New York.
"He goes, 'Shut up Jackman, I know what you did. You started this big campaign that's been going on and you took the title away from me'."
Jackman has also had a tough time with friends and family since being anointed Sexiest Man Alive.
He said one of his Aussie mates emailed him to say he had tennis racquets sexier than the actor.
To Jackman's amusement his eight-year-old son, Oscar, thought the title was a bit of a joke, and his father, Chris, is a little uncomfortable about the tag.
"My old man travelled over with me and we landed in America ... and all of a sudden we were stopped at the airport and saw the Sexiest Man Alive magazine and everyone is talking about it," Jackman told People.
"My father found it really uncomfortable.
"He said to me, 'I can't really talk to you about being sexy. It's a little weird".
"Mind you, I'm still waiting for the birds and the bees pitch from him. That hasn't happened either."

NEW YORK – What a relief! The free public restrooms operated by the Charmin toilet paper company in Times Square during the holidays have been rolled out for another year.
It's the third straight year for the 20 deluxe stalls.
The plush potties feature flat-screen televisions, attendants dressed in tuxedos and plenty of Charmin.
The loos are so luxurious that Charmin promises Times Square tourists will feel like kings sitting on their thrones before making their royal flushes.
The toilets were inaugurated Monday with a ceremonial first flush by pop singer and Broadway star Joey Fatone (fuh-TOHN').
They'll be open daily through the end of the year except Christmas Day. For the first time, they'll be open on New Year's Day until 2 a.m. for the crowd watching the 2009 ball drop.
OTTAWA (Reuters) – Obese people have the right to two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled on Thursday.
The high court declined to hear an appeal by Canadian airlines of a decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency that people who are "functionally disabled by obesity" deserve to have two seats for one fare.
The airlines had lost an appeal at the Federal Court of Appeal in May and had sought to launch a fresh appeal at the Supreme Court. The court's decision not to hear a new appeal means the one-person-one-fare policy stands.
The appeal had been launched by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and WestJet.
